With wellness apps becoming a staple on many smartphones, we're taking a look at the top performers on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom for Q2 2024, courtesy of data from Sensor Tower.
Flora - Green Focus saw a peak in downloads early in the quarter with 24K in the second week, before experiencing a steady decline to a low of 1K by the end of June. The app's revenue followed a similar pattern, peaking at $1K in early May and then dropping off. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting strong at 37K and falling to under 10K.
Enerjoy Pte. Ltd.'s Me+ Daily Routine Planner maintained a more consistent revenue, fluctuating around $8K to $9K for most weeks and spiking to $14K towards the end of May. Downloads saw a high of 9K in the first two weeks of April but generally decreased throughout the quarter. Weekly active users started at 78K and saw a gradual decrease to 63K.
I Am Sober from I Am Sober LLC demonstrated a strong performance with weekly revenue reaching $9K at the end of April and seeing another surge to $8K by late June. Downloads were highest in early April at 8.8K but later dropped to 5.3K. The app's weekly active users remained relatively high throughout the quarter, with a peak of 158K and a closing at 142K.
For BetterSleep: Relax and Sleep by Ipnos Software Inc., revenue saw a significant jump in mid-June, hitting $22K. Downloads varied, with a notable peak of 25K in the second week of June. Weekly active users showed an upward trend, starting at around 29K and reaching a high of 61K in the same week as the download peak.
Lastly, ShutEye®: Sleep Tracker, Sound, also by Enerjoy Pte. Ltd., had its highest revenue in the first week of April at $42K, but this figure gradually decreased to $6K by the end of June. Downloads began at 25K, dipped significantly towards the end of April, and then remained under 2K for the rest of the quarter. Active users followed a downward trajectory from 38K to just over 9K.
